31 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS WITH DAWN OF THE DEAD: DAY 1

Here we go...

Today's post features this very rare photo of the zombies that were placed into the freezer because they had to clean up the mall after the hunt. This photo comes from a 4X5 transparancy issued for promotional purposes by United Artists in Australia. United Artists handled the release of DAWN OF THE DEAD in Australia in April of 1980. This photo comes from a set of 16 of 4X5 transparancies which also came with a 2 page supplement that provides "Color key set captions" whatever that means. This is a great photo because it prominantly features the Green Jumpsuit zombie played by Christopher Dean Sullivan in the center of the photo. I'll provide sceen captures below, of his main scenes in the movie. Ken Foree as "Peter" notably punches him in the face on his way back into JC Penney with "Flyboy"

Each day this month I will be showing you something cool, rare, or even noteworthy concerning DAWN OF THE DEAD as a Christmas Present to the fans from me. I hope that you enjoy this holiday look at DAWN OF THE DEAD.

The first time that you really see Christopher Dean Sullivan in the movie.

The second time that you really see Christopher Dean Sullivan in the movie.
